It's the place of culture and history. You will feel yourself in the Old Times - all the house reproduced the decor of previous times, it's magic. Every bit of our time was sublime. We lived in a two-room suite, with my daughter and a friend. I worked there as well - wifi connection was excellent, and the table was very comfy to work. The breakfast was delicious. We felt fantastic. We literally did not want to leave this charming place. Thank you Pierre and Claire!

Everything about this place was good. We stayed in the best room in the hotel and it was not a room but a flat. We had a bedroom and a living room and a big balcony with a jacusi. The bed was wide and very comfortable and the bath room was a ballroom. There is a very nice terrace facing the garden in front of the restaurant. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was Michelin star quality and the breakfast was typical French but very good.

The day before we arrived, I received a text from the owner Olivier with details of the property and asked if we would like dinner. I text Olivier, ten minutes before arrival, as requested and he sent a video of the road to take. He was there on arrival and asked if we would like to use the pool for an hour. We had this to ourselves and it was lovely after a long, hot journey. The room was gorgeous, the bed was extremely comfortable and it was spotless. There was a tassimo machine and kettle in the room. Me and my husband were the only ones for dinner and Olivier and his son had made homemade burgers and the best chips I've ever tasted. Breakfast was a lovely spread with fresh bread, croissants and pain au choc on each table. There is also a sauna onsite and you can book a massage too. An excellent place to chill. The town of Loan is close and there is lots to explore locally.

Very old, atmospheric hotel with winding stairways and lots of antiquities. We were given a choice of rooms and took one at the top of the hotel which was nice and quiet. We were lucky to find a parking space in a nearby street as the streets are very narrow and busy. Laon is a vey quaint old town.

Great location, very quiet. Welcoming and friendly host. Quirky old building, very historic area. Spacious, warm room, perfect for a family. Short walk to good selection of restaurants (we recommend the Moroccan restaurant). Perfect petit dejuner, all very good value. We travelled with our dog and had no problem. Parking nearby (near the cathedral), which was free.

Location within the town was excellent. We chose not to have breakfast but to make motoring progress and to have breakfast en route. Charmingly quaint accommodation with pleasant views from our room.

It's a very quaint and charming place. A very old building, full of character. Our room, although small was clean and comfortable and very quiet. The hotel is in the centre of the old town and even on Sunday evening there were several restaurants open and you can park nearby. The hotelier was a really nice guy - very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple, but good quality and plentiful. We'd be happy to stay again.

Little rustic hotel in the old part of Laon. We had the full top floor with 2 rooms for our family. Nice view over the rooftops, very quiet. Felt like being back in time - just with the luxury of nice beds, 2 toilets, and a bathtub. Service was great, and breakfast was served in the little charming restaurant. There is a nice walk around the church, and a playground next to the castle. Would gladly be back if we are passing through Laon again.
