Each morning we were greeted with a warm and delicious French breakfast that included a warm bowl of coffee. The host gave us great travel advice, including a wonderful epicery in the village with groceries, local delicacies and gifts. The room we stayed in was charming and spotless. Loved the animals on the property and the terrific views. So much to do in the area and a lovely place to return to at the end of each day.

Alain and Sylvie were the most amazing hosts and we had such a wonderful stay at the chateau! We were truly made to feel at home with an incredible breakfast and laid back vibe. Unlike other chateaus which we we paid to visit during the day, this one is not filled with tourists (they only have 3 guest rooms) and is in very original condition with such beautiful decor - I couldn’t recommend it more!

The chateau is beautiful, off the beaten track and has a quirky vintage charm. It has been neglected by previous owners and it represents an ambitious undertaking to restore the building. The atmosphere downstairs however is grand and the owner/staff is very forthcoming with explanations and offered visits. Great breakfast and overall enchanting experience.

The estate was well kept and impressive. The gardens were blooming and beautiful. The host was kind and accomidaiting, also assisted with dinner reservations. Highly recommended! For those arriving by car, there is parking on premise.

It was great- warm and welcoming homeowner, great decorations and general sense of style, very comfortable and clean. Very generous breakfast, and very accommodating homeowner with great arts room. Better in person than in pics!

The host was wonderful she made us feel very welcome I highly recommend this place, also it is very dog friendly its a great place to stay en route to the channel ports and there is a Vet close by who can provide the worm treatment for returning to the UK

Germany
Hidden in the Loire Valley there is this incredible gem of hospitality. From the moment of arrival we were stunned how beautifully the old stables were renovated and which comfort they are offering. Completely dry in the inside, warm at night. Cozy. The host pays much attention to any detail. That follows by nice greeting and an incredible feast in the evening in the Swedish pavilion in the Gardens (where our children before had the chance to play in the Greens). The host cooks himself and it felt more like being with friends than just being clients/guests. The breakfast he also does completely himself with fresh bread, crepes, smoothie, etc. Truly one highlight of our trip though it was only booked for an overnight-stay between Germany and Spain.
