It’s an old Manor House in the countryside but within easy reach of St Malo centre. The renovations are sympathetically done with tasteful, restful decor. Our room was large and comfortable.
The hosts were really great and offered restaurant recommendations and advice about parking in Cancale and St Malo.
Breakfast was good, served with views over the large and well kept garden.

It was beautiful, artistically renovated and a lovely room with

This is a truly beautiful place to stay. The house is full of history and interesting things to see, including fabulous works of art. Our room (Eglantine) was beautiful. Surrounded by lovely gardens, it is very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious. Lovely to have homemade jams to try. Loic and Marie are very welcoming and helped us with a restaurant reservation (Bello Mio, well worth a visit). Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely accommodation in Hirel, clean & comfortable. Bed comfortable & great shower. Lovely welcome in French by our Hostess, very pleasant indeed, just a shame we do not speak much French. Parking just outside, shop close by, great for reaching Dinan, St Malo & Mont St Michel. Could see the sea from the bathroom. Lovely breakfast, juice, yoghurt, bread, brioche, croissants butter, jam, tea & coffee. Lovely quiet area. A delightful stay for 4 nights.

Our rooms were very clean and nicely decorated with individual taste. Two TVs worked. We had lovely view to the garden and a terrace to relax. Fabian and Franc met us and showed around and were very responsive. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and nice and friendly conversations with Fabian and Franc, even though we do not speak same language. We felt like at home, on our “dacha”)!

As soon as we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Charles and his delightful granddaughter Penelope. Our spacious lodge was cosy and very clean. The bathroom was large, with all the comforts. Right on the seafront, in Hirel, not far from Cancale and its delicious oysters! There are many places to eat on the coastal road.
The morning breakfast (a choice between continental and English), was complete and enough for the hungriest. We had a great time, we hope to be able to return soon. Thank you Charles & Rose!
