This is a very special place, which really impressed us. It's great value for the price. The standard of the room, communal areas and the pool was very high, akin to a high end boutique hotel. In a good way, the property feels in the middle of nowhere - down a long dirt road, in beautiful countryside. It's very low key and quiet - we spent a good part of one day by the pool, and there was no one else about. We had it to ourselves. The owner was always available if needed but in the main left us to our privacy. Up the road, a 10 minute drive away is the lovely village Tourtour, perched on the hill - great for evening meals (lots of choice for a village) and sunset drinks, and wandering round during the day. We stayed in 8 different hotels, B&Bs and guest houses on a 2-week trip in S France, some of which were considerably more expensive than Domaine Monte Verdi, but it was without doubt the best place we stayed.

Sebastién and Aurélie are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts.
Their house is beautiful and set in a peaceful location. The room was in a private area of the house, it was spacious and clean.
Sebastién very kindly borrowed us some tools to fix an issue with our car.
Definitely a good option to stay and explore the area!

We loved everything! The house is located on the top of the hill that offers beautiful views on the surroundings. We had a room with terrace and it was the best choice ever because terrace is facing the pool and all the greenery around. The room is well equipped and nicely decorated. The pool is just fantastic, it is big and even has a diving board to jump. Very good and comfortable sunbeds and even hammocks.
There is also adorable dog Sam! He is very cute, smart and friendly, bringing his toy to play every evening. We loved him so much.
The breakfast is very big and varied from one day to another. The dinner is homemade and truly delicious! Stephanie is amazing cook and really cares about the details. For our anniversary dinner she created incredible desert that we will not forget.
Also Stephanie and Eric gave us many tips and advices about local markets, places to visit and some useful information for travel. Honestly we were quite sad to leave. I hope we can come back soon.

Christian was an excellent host, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great - different selection of freshly baked breads and pastries each day. The location is very quiet but within easy reach of lots of interesting places.

This has to be one of the most unique places we have stayed in. The accommodation is part of a Roman arch!! This compact space is spread over two floors, but everything fits perfectly. We lacked for nothing; a full kitchen with coffee (Merci Fabienne!), well appointed bathroom, a dry space for our touring bikes and a drying rack to use for soggy cycling clothes. All situated in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood and did I mention the arch?? Very fascinating.
charming old bastide very clean and well kept lits of little niches quaint provençal style excellent breakfast home produced yoghurt and jams plently of fresh fruit and nuts pruns to add to yoghurt- within walking distance of the town and a couple of good choices re restaurants but most closed on the Thursday we went. However we found the best one and had an amazing 3 course meal for just 35€ a head. Bed was basic but comfortable 1970’s/80’s bathroom advocado suite but clean.
We had our own private cabin with kitchen and bathroom all in pretty much a single space (little compact but okay). There are a lot of facilities on the property for entertainment (petange/jeue de boules, 8-ball pool, ping-pong/table-tennis, foosball/table-football). On our first morning we received a croissant brought by one of the daughters of the hosts which was lovely.
We had a wonderful stay, with a friendly host. Private outside area for relaxing, eating. Shared area for petanque, table tennis and a most beautiful and quiet swimming pool. The apartments were new, clean, nicely decorated, well stocked, in a quiet area just outside the village. It made a perfect base for us for relaxation and a few trips to the many sights in the wider area including bubbling Frejus, Antibes, St Tropez and breathtaking Tourtour and Gorges du Verdon
