The owner was very welcoming, and in spite of my very poor French we had a good chat over breakfast. Breakfast was fine, with croissants, fruit, bread and great jams (preserves); I liked the tea served in bowls. The ambience of the wonderful old house with beautiful timber stairs was impressive, if a little dark. The attic was very good value.

Everything: first and foremost the staff, friendly, relaxed yet extremely professional. Better than most five star hotels I’ve stayed in.

Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. On both nights we were provided with a prearranged meal which was excellent as was the breakfasts. The room was very large and comfortable. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

I have stayed at this BnB before. The couple who run it are absolutely charming, nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms are quiet and private, the location is great and parking is easy on the street outside. The breakfast is substantial and ideal for those, like me, taking part in a local cycle race.

The hotel looks traditional from the outside and even the hallway. So it was delight to get into the bedroom to find that it and the en-suite are totally modernised. Large comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Nespresso coffee machine.
The host pointed us to the lift so we didn't even need to climb the stairs.
If we pass this way again, it would be the place we would choose.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location. Rooms comfortable and owners very helpful.
