Domaine La Garence, hotel in Châtillon-sur-Marne

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Villers-sous-Châtillon, Domaine La Garence is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the quiet street.

Host is amazing. Makes her own champagne which is some of the best we had in our 6 days gustation. She knows! Extremely welcoming, made dinner for us since we arrived late, already had a bottle cold. Property connects directly to vineyards and hiking routes. Lots of toys and space for our 4 year old daughter to play. Will visit again.

Our stay was in a 'Scandinavian Pod' in the garden, this was a new experience for us. But, all in all it was nice. It had all facilities we were looking for and above all, it was nice and quiet. A special mention of the staff, they were really friendly and helpful. Service with a great smile!

Faustine and Marc were super nice, always available and easy to contact. The place is amazing, cozy and placed in a quiet village. Perfect for visiting cellars in the nearby or just for a relaxing holiday. Last but not least, they also make great wines: I strongly suggest to try their champagne, not common and distinctive.

A paradisiac place…a charming, recently renovated barn with fields of grapes all around! The host was so gracious to offer us a tasting of her champagne and dedicated her time to explain the ups and downs of being an independent champagne producer. Highly recommended. I suggest to call her directly better than booking the property here :)

Very nice and spacious place. Big plus because you have a fully fenced garden, which is nice when you travel with a dog. Very clean, great location. Highly recommended to do the tour/tasting of the selfmade champagnes of the house owners.

We loved our stay at Gites des Sablons! Clara, our host, was very welcoming on arrival. An enjoyable and relaxing couple of days in a beautifully considered gite! The apartment was well presented and clean, with the communal landscaped garden area, great for relaxing in the evenings. This quiet location was a perfect base from which to explore the champagne region by car. We recommend to visit and would love to return in the future!

The apartment is absolutely beautiful with a lot of attention payed to details and good taste. It was also quiet, private, and comfortable. The host, Angelique, was kind and helpful. The apartment is basically located 1 minute away from the vineyards, which is great, but I must confess I though it would take shorter to get into Épernay. But in any way, we had a lovely time in the region and at the apartment!
