The chateau was a fairy-tale come true. So much thought has clearly been poured into every decoration, service, item to make you feel like you are living in royal luxury. The facilities were centrally located among all the main attractions we wanted to see in the Loire Valley, making for easy day-trips wherever we needed. Tours was a 20-min drive and had everything we needed for convenient shopping and dining. The hosts are among the most generous, fascinating people that I have met in my travels. Frankly, it's worth the drive and price just to have a chat in the gardens with them (lol but the house stands on its own)

Spacious property with lots of beds for the kids. The kids loved the pool. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were very kind. The property is a short walk (15 minutes) from the tram that goes right downtown. A cab ride takes about 10 minutes to downtown.

Christina was a wonderful host. She was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room and bathroom were spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfast, which we chose to eat outside, was delicious and included fresh home-grown strawberries. Tours which was about a 20 minute walk away had many historical buildings, cafés and restaurants . We ate locally at an Italian restaurant which was about a 3 minute drive from our accommodation. We would definitely recommend La Tour and would certainly stay here again if we visited this area.

Germany
With a warm welcome by Sophie and Stephane our visit of Tours started. Their BnB is in an old building lying in a green garden with swimming pool (not used by us due to bad weather). Parking is also inside of the property. Our room was situated at attic floor, reachable via small stairs. But we (70 and 69 years old) didn't have problems with them, also not with luggage. The room itself is new equipped and large. And a main plus: The silence! Breakfast was typical French, i.e. mainly sweet. Sophie surprised each morning with homemade pastries. Although site of BnB lies a little way from old center of Tours nearby going tram carried us in a few minutes there.
