The house is charming and attractively decorated. The breakfast was particularly good. Our host looked after us way beyond the call of duty - found and booked us a restaurant for dinner, helped us with onward travel arrangements and much more.

Truly one of the most outstanding breakfasts we have ever been treated to with a personal touch from an enthusiastic host. If you are a lover of design objects and furniture from the forties through to the seventies, you will be awe-struck by the eclectic collection housed here and how it all works together even when it shouldn't. Make a stop here on the way to Versailles and discover a treasure that's within walking distance to the Seine.

The breakfast was superb - fresh pastries and bread from the boulangerie and the host provided delicious home made jam. A big range of teas and fresh coffee also available. The room was immaculate and very comfortable with a very good, clean ensuite bathroom that had a sink, toilet and strong power-shower that also had a rainfall shower head option. A fan was provided in the room which came in useful as the weather was pretty warm in Paris during our stay. There was also a blanket and extra pillows provided in the cupboard, which also had coat hangers for hanging clothes and a hairdryer. The bed and pillows were very comfortable indeed and we were provided with fresh water bottles in the room each day, along with coffee and tea-making options. The host was absolutely charming and couldn't have been more helpful, advising on transport, dining out options and fun things to do in the area and he spoke extremely good English! The area felt very safe and the street was nice and quiet.
It was incredibly accessible, just a 10 minute walk to the Palace of Versailles, a 5 minute walk from both Versailles rail stations, a great little supermarket just down the road and loads of places to choose from to eat out in the evening. Very quick to get into central Paris by train and only 15 or so minutes until you reach the Eiffel Tower rail stop.
Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
