The house has been restored with elegant eccentricity. Check out the family room with two original Empire-style beds complete with awnings and an antique double bed. All very comfortable. Beautifully created courtyard outside ideal for leisurely drinks. Good breakfast with delicious baguettes.
All in a village truly in la France profonde. No big attractions nearby but would be great base to explore the rolling countryside and rural villages around.

Fantastic house with a great soul and great owner! All was in the rustical style but nothing from the presence was missing. Lots of wood, quiet and then a nice breakfast in the morning. No TV in the room!! I loved it, this short stay took me back in time.

A whole building to ourselves. Clean, well-equipped and has everything you need. Washing machine, kitchen with essentials, nice rooms etc. Great place for an overnight stay. Baume-les-Dames is best reached by car but it's peacefully quiet. Self check in was easy. Parking across the road. Highly recommended, will come again.
Very welcoming atmosphere in a charming house with a lovely garden. The venue provided a full and healthy breakfast with fresh and locally produced ingredients. Due to traffic conditions we were later than anticipated but our hostess remained available for personal check-in which was great. Will definitely come back if we are ever again en route to Genève, south of France or Italy.
This house made you think about what charm really means. In the middle of town we found an old building (16th century tower enclosing spiral staircase). Ours was a spacious room with a comfy quaint old creaky bed, and a private bathroom that used to have a bathtub in it (still visible but out of use). A charming couple who even let us 'park' our bikes in the reception area.
