Baptiste is an excellent host - friendly, enthusiastic and gave me great pointers on fun things to do. The location is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are well outfitted, clean. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh bread and homemade jelly as well as a variety of regional products. Bonus points for the hot tub - very enjoyable way to end the evening.

Breakfast was better than expected with attention to detail added by our host. Pancakes, homemade jams and yogurt. The tables were laid out and set individually, no buffet style.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, La Garonde offers pet-friendly accommodation in Berthen. Free private parking is available on site.

La Garonde is set in a lovely location with wide sweeping rural views, particularly from the back of the property. The owner was very nice.and helpful. The breakfast was simple, but featured (amongst other things) very fresh bread and delcious croissants, homemade jams and homemade yogurts, all of which were delicious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean and modern.

Beautiful ❤️ The room is stunning, private, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely, with strawberries that were grown on the farm. We were given a wonderful, warm welcome.
It's is out of the way, wonderful to switch off completely.
Our sat nav sent us all over to get there. Ask I am sure that the host will tell you the best route. She speaks better English than I do French!

Very clean, comfortable accommodation. Modern bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area. I travel solo by motorcycle and like to self cater for myself. If you do the same, this would be perfect for you.
Remote location, so bring your own food. Again, this is what I do, so for me, it was perfect.
Even had a room fully equipped for disabled access

What a lovely little hotel. Super facilities and accommodations were first class. The host were lovely and everything worked over expectations.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
East access and central to superb attractions including Cassel, Botanic Gardens, Mont de Cats, Popperinge, Ypres, Steenvorde Mill and Streenwerke Museum of Rural Life and etc. In a beautiful area of Northern France close to Belgium. Accommodation very comfortable and spacious. Short orong stay.. brilliant. Parking. Great hosts.
Baptiste is a superb host. The house and room are very good and the location very quiet. Could spend hours talking about wine with a professional like Baptiste. Will come back next time I travel in this region.
Modern, comfortable and quiet rural location, but very close, 5 mins drive, to Bailleul which has all the amenities you could hope for. Loved the communal kitchen! Fabulous breakfast with many homemade ingredients. A hidden gem!
The truth is that we have no complaints, except perhaps that we did not have time to stay more nights. Baptiste is a very attentive man and we loved how he and his wife have prepared the house with such care. The decoration is beautiful! We booked the house to allow ourselves the luxury of resting and enjoying its fantastic Nordic bath in the garden and it exceeded our expectations. He leaves it well prepared and is waiting for you to feel comfortable and welcome. We will return for sure!
Gracias por todo!
Lovely family looking after the campsite and a really fabulous shop. The room we chose ( the nid) had a private terrace with a fun outdoor Nordic bath, quality sun loungers and came with a bottle of champagne and a fantastic continental breakfast. The campsite has a convenient setting close to Ypres.
Good value, nice and clean, very quiet location, good size accomodation
