It was a very nice and centrally located area of Bayeux... super easy to get around to anywhere we wanted to go.... a very secure place to stay as well. Breakfast provided was fantastic and the vibe felt very home as the host made it feel that way. I love that the courtyard gave of a very 14th Century vibe and it made you feel as though you were participating in a past time.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The apartment was located within a short walking distance of the beach. There is also an excellent WW2 museum within easy walking distance. Bayeaux was only about 10 minutes away.
The apartment is very quiet and private. There is adequate heating on colder days. The kitchen contained all of the essential pots and pans. There was a refrigerator and microwave. The managers did provide a fairly good list covering most of the items pertaining to the apartment.
Catherine is welcoming and keen to make your stay how you want it. She even loaned us beach towels and chairs. The house is perfectly situated in a quiet street, two minutes from the sea front, shops and restaurants. Arromanches is well placed in the middle of the D-day beaches and 15 mins drive from Bayeux. We opted for breakfast which was very good, including variously croissant, good bread, fresh fruit and yoghurt and even homemade crêpes. We would happily return.

Excellent location, ideal for visiting WW2 beaches and museums. The property was charming, quaint and cosy. The owner lived on site and was very friendly. There were a few lovely restaurants and cafés within walking distance of the property, perfect after a day’s sightseeing.
