This is an Ecuadorian family owned hostal. The family is incredibly kind and helpful. I had zoom job interviews and they let me borrow a private room and set up a table. In addition, the beds are incredibly comfortable. The dorms have full sized beds.

I didn't take breakfast there except once and it was very good. The little cottage was comfortable with a large kitchen and a nice mattress. The bathroom was fine. Occasionally had hot water issues but they were very responsive. The location is feet from a lovely river and the walking path went by an ancient Inca village. The owners were very nice and helpful and even picked me up at the airport and took me to a doctor's appointment. Everyone was lovely.

Location was in the centre of touristic area where you can easily walk to major attractions within the city, including the bus terminal (20min walk or $2 taxi ride). The staffs were super friendly and very helpful. The room was one of the cleanest places we've stayed in ecuador with well working hot water!

Enjoyed this amazing stay in Cuenca . The hotel had everything my husband and I needed . We went on a couple get away and enjoyed the city , the views , the night life . Our hotel was right in front of a great view , so many attractions nearby . It is not loud at all , hotel was cleaned and staff was extremely helpful .
