An amazing stay! The place is beautiful, just a few steps from the beach, surrounded by charming restaurants and a wonderful beach for walks. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, and the atmosphere they create in their home is fantastic. A cozy pool, delicious breakfasts, very clean and beautiful. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back!

The pool was nice, and we had it to ourselves because there were no other guests at the moment we stayed. The host is super friendly and explains everything very detailed. The room is spacious and the deck is nice for sitting outside.

We stayed at Casa Shambala for one week and we truly enjoyed our stay! The accommodation is amazing and just like in the photos. Everything is clean, modern and well taken care of. The owners were friendly and we felt very welcomed. We also had breakfast there every morning and it was great; every morning we had something different (scrambled eggs, cakes, crepes/pancakes, fresh fruits and juice..). The B&B is located approximately 200m from the beach and the main road where you can find restaurants and shops. Even though the main road can be quite busy, the pool area is quiet and we almost had the pool just for ourselves :) I have high standards for accommodations but I can definitely recommend Casa Shambala - you won’t regret it!

We received a very friendly welcome from Maria. She quickly tried to fulfill all our requests and gave us good tips for the surrounding area. The cottage was lovingly and comfortably furnished. The pool was right in front of the cottage and very clean. The lodge grounds were very well maintained, with beautiful plants and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was also very tasty and the service was very friendly.
The beautiful El Valle beach is just a 10-minute walk away. I recommend everyone to book an excursion by speedboat to Ermitaño beach, which can be reached quite quickly. A pure dream, like paradise. Maria also provides support here if you want to book excursions.
I can definitely recommend it.

The villa is surrounded by a fantastic tropical garden, is very elegant and charming. Very quiet area, just a few minutes walk to the nearest beach. The room was very spacious and had an enormous and very cozy terrace.

Excellent location. Great host and atmosphere. Really clean rooms, especially for DR and the region. The villa is spacious with just a moment to the beautiful beach and all the laid-back restaurants and clubs. Just by the corner really good small few-table restaurant - ask Sascha the host for details. To the hive-like city center not far but far enough - a short walk by the beach and you there. Great breakfast every morning of fresh fruit, bread and eggs cooked to order. Great location just a 5 minute walk to the beach and loads of wonderful restaurants.

We stayed 3 nights at the Takuma Boutique Resort. We enjoyed everything about it. It is very quiet and private, since it only has 7 rooms. The room was bigger than expected and every room has it's own terrace with access to the pool. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. And the resort itself is absolutly beautiful. We would definitly book there again.
