Totally central, close to restaurants and shops. It is right on a beautiful looking river. We were in the mirror room which was very nicely decorated. There was a kettle, a fridge and a couple of tea bags. The bathroom was a good size.

Great Gasthaus with very friendly and accommodating owners. Breakfast was superb! The location is perfect for exploring different national parks in the Bavarian forest. We would definitely recommend Pension Schatzkisterl!

One-of-a-kind experience! Not just because of the night in the floating tent under the treetops and stars (we were lucky enough to have clear skies), but also the hospitality of the host and authenticity of the location. With the bedding provided it was more than warm enough in the tent for us and it was assuring to know there was a room available as backup (if it rains, is too cold, ...). The breakfast is like the pension & location: authentic, local, charming and very enjoyable.
Great location and property which had everything we needed. Amazing views and so peaceful, we managed some great local walks but also visited some local towns which were not too far away by car. Great family break in this cosy holiday home.
The location of the hotel is superb - in a quiet little village, just close and with a nice view on the ruins of the old castle. The room (with balcony, on the first floor) was large and clean, very good beds, with a nice view from the balcony on the surrounding countryside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast as well. Parking possible just in front of the hotel
The bavarian forest is a great location to visit and this accommodation was a great base to visit it. It is a spacious accommodation and inclues all the requirements of a self-catering accommodation.
