We stayed for one night at this charming family pension in Rottau while traveling back home from Croatia, and it was a lovely experience. The place was clean and comfortable, providing exactly what we needed for a restful stopover.
Although the pension’s restaurant was closed on the day we arrived, the host was incredibly helpful and directed us to a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be a great choice. The next morning, we enjoyed a good breakfast in the pension’s restaurant, which set us up nicely for the rest of our journey.

The hostess was incredibly friendly and welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived. She recommended several local things to do. The room was great, everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and filling and friendly. We met a couple who have been coming to the same hotel for 35 years! If that doesn’t tell you that it’s quality… !! The WiFi was excellent and even reached the beautiful outside area, where we sat the whole evening enjoying the fresh air.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Such a shame that we only booked for one night.
There were so many things we really enjoyed:
- Breakfast was amazing (the home-made cupcakes were delicious).
- The host was just wonderful. She gave us so many tips on what to see, where to eat, the nice hikes.
- The beds were super comfy.
- We had our own terrace with a lovely view.
- They invested in solar panels and a charger for electric cars. What’s not to like.
Will we be back? Yes, most definitely.

We stayed overnight while travelling south. Our room was very cosy and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Very good breakfast with decent selection. We liked very much the building itself and the location in the middle of a village.

This is a fantastic property! We had a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed made up for us upon arrival, and a separate bedroom. There is a very small kitchenette area and although we didn’t use it, it seemed well equipped. We had a large wraparound balcony with mountain views. The host was lovely and provided an excellent continental breakfast included in the price. Free parking is located within the property. We would visit again!

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Very clean, tidy spacious and comfortable apartment for our family of four. If you're visiting Bavaria for hiking there are hundreds of trails around you. The terrasse is completely private.
We upgraded to a bigger room with two double beds. It was super super cozy.
The staff was excellent and nice and we had a nice drink in the evening.
The environment is very lovely super views. we were lucky and even saw a rainbow upon arrival.

Clean, quiet, modern apartment with plenty of facilities - lovely shower, big TV, cooker, dishwasher, balcony etc. Great village location too with a restaurant/pub and bakery next door on either side + a long streamside walk for the dogs. The owner was also very pleasant and discreet (was actually living 2 floors down but we didn't even realise until she came to ask if everything was OK shortly before we left).
The apartment was excellent couldn’t fault it. The owner was extremely helpful. The location well what can I say book it and you will not be disappointed 🙂 it’s so quiet you might hear the odd bell hanging around the cows 🐄 neck.
We would come back and stay here 100%

Very welcoming staff. Excellent facilities, great and quiet location. Brand new bathroom facilities. Excellent food. Comfortable beds. The cleanest guesthouse I’ve ever stayed at.
Simple accommodations in a cozy Gasthof, friendly atmosphere, nice breakfast. Central but quiet location in Marquartstein, free parking. Rooms are a bit dated but perfectly adequate and hard to beat for the prize.
