The staff was extremely welcome and helped us with non typical requests. The place and view from the windows are nice. The mattress is purposely stiff which is good for the back. The value for money was exceptional during our stay in December during school holidays.

This hotel was amazing. Everything was perfect... from the cleanliness of the entire property, the modern conveniences, the amazing views of Schliersee out our balcony, the sauna facilities, the staff and the mouth-watering breakfast every morning was over-the-top. Cannot have been happier or more welcomed by the staff every day. The property is perfectly situated to the train station and walking distance of numerous restaurants. Christina was so kind and understanding of our lack of speaking German and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back there again. Danke schön!

Very clean, recently renovated/refreshed room, fantastic, big bathroom. Good wifi, very nice breakfast. There is only one ATM in town that accepts revolut card - Sparkasse and you can withdraw without any commission. This is a perfect place for a short stay and probably for a longer stay as well. We picked this for a quick pitstop on our way to Zillertal and it was perfect. Local, tasty, mineral water available free of charge, cold :)

This place was perfect for what we needed - something reasonably priced we could stay at about an hour outside of Munich and provided breakfast. This met all of that!
Easy parking and good breakfast

Wonderful location in the middle of mountains. Very quiet. Good breakfast. Room completely new.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The hotel is a historic building in a very charming small town. The garden has a super restaurant where you can dine under shady trees. It is a good idea to book a table when you check in, as the restaurant fills up quickly.
We booked Die Bäckeralm for one night to travel the next day further to Croatia. The host was very friendly. At arrival he greeted us already knowing who we were. It is a small place with a few apartments, so he knows who's coming, but it's nice and you feel welcome.
Nice beds, quiet surroundings and a nice breakfast makes the stay complete.
We got good advice about the surroundings and where we could get a bite to eat. Nice restaurants nearby with quality food and very good prices.
In short: perfect stay.
Stuuning location in the mountains, very quiet hotel for the time of year that i stayed, ideally located for the purpose of my visit. Would love to come back during the ski season! Very friendly staff. Rooms are basic, however they are comfortable and spotlessly clean.
a beautifully equipped and comfortable apartment, in a fantastic quiet and peaceful location. The host were perfect and had thought of all the guests needs including gelato. A fantastic location to spend Christmas with a hotel serving great food across the village square. On of my best Christmas vacations.
Great old house (built 1913), very warm and stylish, fascinating view on the mountains from the window. Very quiet. Car ride to Sudelfeld is ~10 minutes, Wendelstein ~2 minutes, and bus/train are also not too far.
Great breakfast. Parking at the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, warm and comfortable. The views in the morning are fantastic. We enjoyed especially the great location close to the cross country ski tracks (very important).
Geitau is a beautiful village to base explorations. Lots of hiking available straight out the hotel door.
Balcony has incredible view.
Breakfast was cold cuts, cheese, mozzarella and tomatoes, joghurt, mixed fruit, eggs, rolls.
Will definitely stay here again though I may book directly with the hotel to get a cheaper rate.
