This family-run hotel lies south-east of Aachen, just 500 metres from the Belgian border and the A44 motorway. It offers large rooms with Wi-Fi, a restaurant, beer garden and free parking.

Most of the rooms at Hotel zur Heide were renovated in 2017 and include a TV with Sky channels, desk and a private bathroom. Most rooms face towards the garden, and some have a balcony.

The room was comfortable and clean; the restaurant was one of the best during our trip. We were traveling Frankfurt to Brussels and this location was perfect being about halfway between and easy to find being right off the highway. Also close to Aachen and Hurtgen Forest.

Located within 6.6 km of Theatre Aachen and 6.7 km of Aachen Central Station in Aachen, Privat-Pension-Doemens provides accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. The property features garden views and is 6.9 km from Eurogress Aachen and 6.9 km from Aachen Cathedral. Historical Town Hall Aachen is 8.4 km from the guest house and Vaalsbroek Castle is 14 km away.

The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the owner was very friendly and supportive. The location is close to city, you can park in the street, the nr of available parking spots seems a bit tight. There is a kitchen and fridge you can use to cook and store your groceries.

The accommodation comes with a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and coffee machine, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony. The units feature a wardrobe.

Place was huge, clean and well located. A little far from the centre, but really close to a small palace (now a restaurant) and park. Everything needed was there and the host was very friendly. Check-in and out were contactless, but worked perfectly. The region is busy during the day, but quiet at night. Rooms were spacious. One of them (3 single beds) could also fit our travel crib. You have a bakery right at the corner and further stores in walking distance, including a cafe. There was a place for cooking, although you shouldn't expect a fully functional kitchen. I certainly recommend for larger groups.

Stayed here on my road trip. The hotel was perfectly located just outside Aachen. The young man who welcomed me and checked me in was exceptionally helpful.

This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station and 15 minutes walk from the city centre. We asked for a room at the back, and it was very quiet - just the noise of birds singing and distant church bells! Breakfast (served from 7.00 on weekdays) was excellent, with plenty of choice. There are two of three restaurants nearby and a couple of dozen in the city centre. So plenty to choose from. It was good value too.

Great location, right by the train station, and cheap – I didn't expect much apart from this (space, cleanliness, good service), as I didn't have to pay much. But when it comes to low budget, this is high class. Bonus: a locker, with our own key, where we could keep our luggage the next day before leaving town.

A charming hotel in the city centre. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the rooms are large. Very comfortable and quiet. We only stayed one night but this hotel would be good for a longer stay.

I liked the hotel more than I expected to! Very conveniently located to the Hauptbahnhof (and about a 15 minute walk to the city center). Good beds, good WiFi, excellent breakfast. A good budget choice for families. It looks like a hostel from the outside/lobby, but our room was quiet.

Boutique type hotel, the signage is a bit hard to see and the frontage looks like a derelict gas station, but once you are at the back of the building it is quite quaint, with a garden terrace offcthe restaurant. The room was on the smaller side but room enough for all our luggage and a decently sized balcony onto a private green space. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good as well.

Great location right next to the railweay station, and a short walk to the city centre. Comfortable room. Friendly staff on reception. Private parking available at side of hotel at extra cost (well worth it).

Great location! City centre just starts from the corner of the building and everything is within 15 minutes walking distance. The room itself was spacious, quiet and lots of natural light was coming from outside. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well.
