Hostal El Colibri, hotel in Pisco Elqui

Located in Vicuña, Hostal El Colibri offers accommodation with free WiFi in all common areas. This property features a terrace with garden views.

The words in this review will never do justice to our incredible stay at Hostal El Colibri, or do justice to the hospitality of Richard and his excellent staff. Richard is not only the best hostel owner we have come across during our travels in South America, but he is one of the most special people I have ever met in my entire life. The Elqui valley and Vicuña is a beautiful place with a unique energy - and Richard makes you feel this from the moment you are introduced. If I could give his hostel 100 stars I would - oh, and seeing the stars in the Elqui valley is a MUST. Likewise, the Lebanese eggs at breakfast are a MUST. Thank you Richard for a stay I will never forget.

Beautiful and perfect cottage in Pisco Elqui! Close to the main and only square in the town and all the restaurants and bars, but yet in a quiet and peaceful place. The view towards the mountains from your outside space is amazing both in the mornings and the nights! The pool in the common area is a big plus! We would stay here again!

The Hotel is marvellous! It is a perfect place to relax. Gardens are full with different local flora and has many private spaces with chairs and tables to enjoy a cup of tea. Rooms are not too big, but beds are very comfortable, all days we slept perfectly. Pool is quite big, really enjoyable. A must in the zone. Staff is very polite and helpful. There is an outdoor but private jacuzzi as an extra service. All in all, we relaxed so great in a gorgeous place. Recommended.

It’s a wonderful cabanas a few minutes by walking south of Pisco Elqui. Because it is out of town there are stunning views of the valley from your cabin balcony. They serve breakfast to your cabin balcony so you can sit there and admire the view as you eat. The layout is designed so that every cabin feels completely private. The bed was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. A great choice for your stay in this remarkable valley.

This was a great place to stay, just a short walk to the central square in Pisco Elqui. The hostal owner was really easy to contact and extremely friendly and welcoming. He even showed us his collection musical instruments, which we really appreciated. There was a nice outside space and cooking/eating facilities, it was quiet at night and there was even a hammock just outside our room. The room was basic but was clean had everything we needed.
