I'lle de Garde is a quaint B&B run by a lovely couple. We were upgraded for free to the King suite which was roomy and with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. Walkling distance to restaurants and downtown.

The authenticity of the place was appreciated. Antique, rustic and near-original cracking floors. Code-locks for all rooms and home entrance allows you to feel safe
The 2 level all-round balcony gave options to either follow or hide from the sun.
The valley view (eastern view) was nice.
The place has 2 bedrooms and one large suite with 2 bedrooms(family). That in itself makes the place intimate.

I had the most incredible stay at this beautiful B&B! The property is spacious, with a large, gorgeous garden, a pool, a jacuzzi, many charming rest areas, mini waterfalls, and beyond the garden, a forest, green fields, and a mini pond. So dreamy!
My room, which had a patio, was lovely and decorated with a seaside theme. It had a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom (there were even bathrobes!). The room was very clean. I loved having my own patio with a cute table and chairs, overlooking the garden. I could easily step out to wander around or go to the pool.
Everything around the house and garden was so beautiful. There was a tiny fridge in the foyer where guests could store their food if needed. The breakfast was generous and delicious. There was also a friendly and adorable dog and cat, which I enjoyed spending time with.
The host, Geraldine, was so kind, personable, and helpful, making me feel right at home. This B&B is one of the best I've visited so far. I highly recommend it!
