For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Shared.kitchen meant we could cook but if was disorganised and needed a clean. They provided breakfast food too but again this was disorganised and we kind of had to guess what was communal. Room was big but if we stayed longer we might have wanted to use the wardrobe which was off limits. Bed was comfy. Parking on the drive. Very quiet residential neighbourhood.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It felt like a home! Sooo quiet too! The pillows were A+. Also loved the flower arrangements outside. Such a colourful and inviting inn. And right next to the whimsical sunken gardens which was a total bonus.
Booked the 2-bedroom apartment. Bedrooms were bright and breezy, bathroom/kitchen/common area was clean. Lots of space. Very private and quiet as the entrance to the suite is around the back.
TV had netflix, crave, prime - worked well. Good location right beside the sunken gardens, and close to downtown
Andrea was very accommodating and friendly. Frank and Beans were great hosts. Out dogs loved the place. Nice, quiet spot to stay after a long day on the ferry.
