Featuring lake views, Le gîte du Lac à la Tortue features accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge, around 14 km from Les Piles Village Forestier. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the bed and breakfast's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax.

It was a really nice place to stay and super quiet natural surroundings. There are a few other rooms that can be rented and all share the kitchen and living space. Ours was on the main level with a door that opens right to the living space couches. Luckily for the two night we rented we were the only ones in the entire facility. Kind of incredible really. But note that maybe during the busier season this room would probably have most noise and the bathroom is not connected to the room. It’s across the hall. The hot tub was quite nice for sunset on the lake even if there were no instructions on how to adjust the heat or whatnot. It managed fine for the one time use. The kitchen was spacious and great. There was a super sweet cat that greeted us in the morning on the lovely terrace.

Everything was amazing, from the kindness of the host and her recommendations, the home made breakfasts with local maple syrup, the cleanliness of the rooms and bathroom, and the stunning scenery outside! We rented the 3 bedrooms so we had the whole floor to ourselves and really felt at home!
