The property and its contents are stunning. Kevin and Lesley were so welcoming and helpful. Kevin is the font of all local history places to visit in NS, invaluable if visiting for the first time. Kevin an ex-chef made a beautiful breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you want comfortable and beautiful accommodation.

What not to like?! The building is the most charming historic inn I've ever stayed at, the decor is perfectly done to transport you back in time for the most memorable stay, and the customer service is top notch making you feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and served in the most lovely dining room. Our suite was comfortable, spacious, bed was extremely comfortable. Location is fantastic. 5 stars ! We'll be back!

I needed a quiet place to reflect, write, evaluate my affairs as we near the end of the year. My hosts at Garrison House were the best one could hope. Intelligent, thoughtful, able to provide the best in personal accommodation. That they propose a world-class cuisine was an unexpected astonishing bonus.

We loved everything about this place. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. The food was fabulous! The suite was comfortable and quiet with a lovely little Deck outside to enjoy. Bed was excellent. Private Jacuzzi was a nice addition. Wifi worked well. Will definitely return,even if it's just for the excellent food and service.

The room was beautiful as was the house and its surroundings. It was decorated in Victorian style antiques which were carefully selected. The hosts were charming, entertaining and helpful in where and what to do in the area, The Inn was quiet and, yet, centrally located to the main street.

Beautifully appointed Victorian in a great location. Friendly and pleasant hosts. Excellent breakfasts served in an elegant dining room. The room was spacious and comfortable. Absolutely every need was addressed. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend!
