When arriving we got invited into the house by the host (and a very sweet dog) and sat around the kitchen table where he explained everything to us. In the morning we joined the family at the kitchen table again for a chat, and a very luxurious breakfast with freshly baked eggs and bacon, fruits, yoghurt, buns, and even chocolate buns! :) The location is very calm and quiet but still close to the city centre where there is a variety of cozy bars and restaurants.

The hosts are very friendly and helped us out at short notice (another booking.com host cancelled on us at the last minute without even a message to explain), the chalet is spacious, quaint and comfortable. It is decorated with great love and care. The location is not somewhere we had been before and although we were there just one night we found it such a lovely location - in the forest, surrounded by trees, where we woke to the sound of birds. Our children loved it and made us promise to return soon ...
