We were welcomed by a really friendly host into a beautifully renovated old characterful farm house. The accommodation is very roomy, including everything you need. Bathroom is spacious with a walk in rainforest shower and a bath tub. The mattresses are firm resulting in a refreshing night’s sleep combined with the quiet of your rural surroundings. You get a big breakfast downstairs consisting of freshly made eggs, ham, cheese, fresh bread, a variety of croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, hand pressed orange juice and fresh coffee. We couldn’t ask for a better way to start the day. In the evening we sat around the fire pit with a drink talking the night away under the beautiful night sky. This is a very easy recommend.

I had to spend the night near Houffalize on short notice and I had looked for a quiet place, a comfortable bed and a warm meal, on a reasonable budget. This place met all my expectations. The host cooked an excellent evening meal and brewed fresh tea, as I arrived on a freezing cold winter night. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I wish I had a little more time to spend over there to have a decent breakfast. I would most definitily stop there again any time and recommend this place to any friendly fellow traveller.

Everything! Our hosts were wonderful. Breakfast is lovely. The facilities were beyond our expectations. Excellent idea to have cold drinks and snacks available to buy from reception. Netflix in the room which was nice to use in the evening, aswell as games in the common area. We both were sad to leave and would definitely return again! Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay. Nice location, close to the railway station if you would come by train, next to a tiny square where you also have an Italian restaurant with excellent pizza's. Rooms were clean and roomy, nice bathroom and I didn't hear any disturbances during the night. Despite the lack of air conditioning the room did cool down quite well at night (with the window open). Oh, and the breakfast was excellent!

There are many cafés and restaurants serving Belgian and international specialities in the centre of Vielsalm, 10 minutes' drive from the bed and breakfast. This is a wonderful small inn. We were cheerfully greeted by the gracious and friendly host and hostess. Our room was large, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Both the dinner and breakfast featuring local dishes were outstanding. This is a good location for those interested in visiting the Battle of the Bulge sites, as we were.
