To be perfectly honest I initially thought we arrived at the wrong property it looked so good!, however the guesthouse is exceptional probably the best place i have ever stayed. Mike and Dorien our hosts were attentive and could not do enough to make us feel comfortable. The whole place was immaculately clean. The room was great, shower amazing and the breakfast was just perfect. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool and garden but did have a wander and watched the fish. Mike even went out and bought decaffeinated coffee for us! All in all just perfect and highly recommended

We loved the studio it's spacious, super clean, new and comfortable. The hosts are a very nice couple and they put all their effort to do an excellent job and they are really passionate about what they do. The bath was very relaxing, all the atmosphere is relaxing thanks also to the wonderful plants and flowers all around. Breakfast was amazing!!We will come back for sure :)

The host really takes care of the breakfast, i.e. she lets you experience new flavors and recipes with a focus on health. She is very open and easy to communicate with. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. There was a private parking place for your car and a warmed swimming pool in the summer.

Full scope luxury. Property is new and has everything in house to relax. Nicely furnished. The owner takes the time to make you feel comfortable. Very good breakfast.
the Tannerie is a gem located right in the centre of Balen. The garden and pool are an unexpected delight, offering quiet peaceful respite in the centre of the town. Parking is convenient right our front in the central market. Clear instructions for check-in were provided when the hosts were unable to meet us, even being available via phone for assistance. The rooms are modern and incredibly comfortable with all the essentials. Overall, a first-class B&B experience in small-town Belgium! We will be back for more :)
