The views are great. The guest house had an old fashioned style, but was very clean. Margaret is a kind hard-working woman who has been very hospitable to us. We would definitely stay here again.

It’s a family-run-in business, so we got a very warm welcome like some part of them. The owner is so helpful and friendly giving us lots of useful local information, but very respectful of our private time. The location is great in the heart of the vineyard zone, easy to take a short drive to many cellar doors and wine houses. Just some units of property, we didn’t need to stand in line for checking in and out. The room is spacious and spotless with cosy decoration. There is a small succulent and rose garden in front of the room, and panoramic views only some steps beyond. Waking up in the early morning, we enjoy a fantastic stroll through the vineyard, snapshots of kangaroos and floating balloons in the sky.

The property's Cellar Door is open daily from 10:00-17:00 where you can enjoy a relaxed tasting of boutique wines, handpicked from McCaffrey's Estate vineyard. There are also chickens and ducks onsite, providing fresh eggs for guests as well as plenty of kangaroos to watch in the vineyard.

Quiet , serene location. With a country vibe. Walking the vines , early morning was a nice way to start the day. Time in a salt pool at midday was a welcome retreat from the Hunter warmth.
