Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant.
We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nice. It was rather easy to park our cars. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere (dinner). We would probably stay there again, if ever in the area.

Breakfast was great and the rooms were well maintained and spacious, plenty of storage and cleaned and beds made everday, cant fault it. (Our Room also had a lovely view of the mountains.)

We stayed one night before going hiking in the Kaiser mountains. We enjoyed our stay here, the room was comfortable with a nice balcony, clean and quiet. The owners are very friendly and welcomed us on our arrival. Breakfast was good and generous. Overall a good start to our journey in the Wilder Kaiser!
