The staff were all exceptional, a friendly jambo from the reception to the ground staff, everybody was there to make your stay as good as possible. All bar and waitstaff were so friendly teaching us Swahili- special mention to Steven at Horizon who we looked forward to seeing and went past exceptional staff to genuine friendship. The best part was seeing all the other guests have the same experience hugging staff at breakfast and having a great time!

Their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate requests did not go unnoticed and were greatly appreciated. Furthermore, having the owner actively engaged with guests was a delightful surprise. The personal interactions and engaging conversations with the owner added a unique touch to my stay and made it feel like I was part of a welcoming family. Lastly, the entertainment hosted on Friday night, featuring a live band and acrobatic performers, was absolutely fantastic. It was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the evening, and I can confidently say that I enjoyed every moment of it. In summary, my stay at Mayai was nothing short of extraordinary.
