Before I came to Karibu House I was on different hotel, and there was nice, but almost all time I was sitting in my room. When I decided to come to Karibu house my life was changed. Vanesse took me to the people. She show me the side of Zanzibar, that I can't even imagine. I saw parties that I never meet even in Europe! Eg. There was a party with swimming pool! Till this moment I saw something like this only in movies. But now it is part of my self experience and I met on this party my present girlfriend (we are together for 2 month)! What is very special in Vanessa personality that she know where is excellent balance between inviting on party, getting interesting of guest and respect of privacy. She didn't ask not comfortable question. Thanks to it everyone feels very well and safe in her company. Definatelly I can recommend Vanessa to person who is must meet in Zanzibar! Karibu is very beautiful place. There are colorful flowers, trees and plants. Thanks to it I felt very nice and relaxing only by sitting in this environment. Outside of room is place for chill and meet some people from other rooms and can exchange experience and spent together nice time. Thanks to this atmosphere people are very kind, peaceful and have joy from being in Karibu. Vanessa is the best additional value of this place. She makes difference. Very close to beach and to shops. Karibu is located in center of everything. Very good located place and cheap.

It was a perfect location at Paje. On the beach. Tha garden was amazing with a huge pool, coconut trees and palms and also too of the restaurant another pool with a completely panoramic view to the ocean. The room was big enough and we had everything what we needed. The bathroom was huge. And from the balcony we had a view for the garden and the ocean. We loved every spot at the place!
Perfect location right on the beach between Paje and Jambiani and therefore an oasis of peace! The rooms are located in a nicely maintained garden with the restaurant, pool and lounge area right on the ocean. The hotel has its own generator which makes the frequent powercuts on the island easy to deal with. Staff and management are super nice, friendly and helpful!!

Hidden gem in Zanzibar, the hotel is right on the beach , two steps from the ocean! The rooms have all you need and all is super clean! The hosting couple are amazingly friendly, take care of every detail! The food is amazing(I recommend the sea food specially) and the portions are big! Best place i stayed in Tanzania

The best hotel in Paje that over looks the sunset in the sky bar and also over looks the beautiful beach. Beach is only 1 minute walk from the hotel, kite surfing facilities/schools are right on the beach less than 2 minute walk. Staff were all so wonderful and the breakfast was the best we had in Zanzibar. Initially we had the hotel booked for two nights but we loved the hotel and kept extending our stay and ended up staying for 8 days.

Traditional wooden bungalows right on the beach. Quiet at night snd you hear the ocean in your bed or sitting on your veranda. Cleaned daily, fresh towels, nice bed, good pressure in the shower. Breakfast is nice with juice, eggs, bread and a lot of fresh fruits. Comparered to other places on the beach, definitely the best value for money. Wifi works for surfing and a bit of streaming as well. Cool young guests at the hotel with its only four rooms, but don't worry, no backpacker party crowd. Totally recommended to go!
