Rose Marie was a most wonderful host, who went above and beyond when we encountered a problem with our car. We had a very relaxing stay at the hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) served at the hotel restaurant each day. Indeed, we hadn’t planned on having all of our meals at the hotel restaurant, but such was the quality of the food and the relaxation we were experiencing that we decided to do so. We enjoyed long walks along the expansive, peaceful and relatively unspoiled beach surrounding the Punta Chame peninsula, followed by swims in the pool. We enjoyed drinks by the pool each evening. We enjoyed a great sleep each night in the very comfy beds. All in all, we had a most wonderful stay at Hotel Casa Amarilla, made all the more so by Rose Marie and her wonderful team.

The location is in the heart of Casco Viejo. The room we had 101 I think in the Spanish building, was small but the bathroom was very comfortable. We had a room facing towards the gardens, which was lovely w an outdoor terrace shared by 3 rooms. From there we watched a bride taking pictures in the garden. The rooms facing the Avenue are louder with traffic and people walking by.

There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Everything! From the moment we arrived until we sadly had to leave, the staff were just amazing. The room was super clean with a lovely view of the ocean. The day we arrived, Hector drove us into town and gave us a tour of the town. The owner, Francisco, asked us to join him for some wine. Never have we had such an amazing stay. He even organised massages for us the following day. The location is like being in paradise..we had the entire beach to ourselves. Sadly we had to leave, but I couldn't recommend this place enough! Thank you Francisco and all your staff and your lovely dogs for making our trip so special.

Our room was even available immediately at 9am, which was really convenient.
