Catamaran sea trip for a snorkeling was extremely comfortable and impressive. Transfer on Marriot ship was very comfortable as well, worth to use against the 3rd party water taxi!

The location is great, on what I would say is the nicest beach on the islands and while not overboard, theres plenty of things just near the hotel - restaurants, dive centers etc so it doesn't get boring

I like the hotel very much, I was very happy for my choice. The hotel is situated on the small island, with private small beach and surrounded by the jungle. A fabolous atmosphere for me. You can snorkle arround the rocks of the private beach, you can go for a snorkling trip or walking tour around the island. The hotel has a restaurant open for breakfast (included), lunch and dinner. Smaller plates that we were used in Malaysia, but very good. We had rooms in the upper part with great sea view. The Coral Beach is 15 minutes walking distance and the Long beach 25 minutes through the jungle, very nice walk. Or you can use the water taxi.

The chalet features family rooms. Everything was just perfect. Roomy, clean, quiet place with a huge terrace and a beautiful sea view. We could hear the waves from the bed, so relaxing. Many restaurants around, a local experience in the nearby fishing village. And that all for a very reasonable price. We send nice greeting to Syed, the best and funniest receptionist ever 😉 And don't miss super delicious ROTI in the restaurant next to the hotel.

Guests can go diving trip, snorkel or fish. Relaxing on the beach and enjoying a barbecue is another good recreation choice. The location is the best on the island. The rooms are exactly as photos. Food and drinks (inc beer )in the restaurant are great value and available all day. Comfortable sun beds and umbrellas. Thank you Yanni, Jimmy & all the team. Breakfast is a wonderful spread. All activities offered from resort. Place is spotless, AC works, hot water all the time in shower. Refill cold drinking water available as is hot water for coffee in the restaurant.

Suhaila Palace offers beachfront accommodation in Perhentian Besar Island. Free WiFi is available in public areas and guests can do various water sports activities. Certain rooms feature a balcony with sea view. So this is our second visit to suhaila’s palace. Our stay in this peaceful haven was perfect. Suhaila and her crew were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are suite spacious with safety lockers and thermos for hot water (hot water station at the main entrance). Suhaila also runs a small store where you can find all the essentials. Laundry is also suggested among other services. My wife got sick and she was well taken care of. We would 100% recommend suhaila’s palace for those who seek lodging. We’d definitely love to be back soon
