After a day of exploring, it was a pleasure to return to Casa Mia to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend Casa Mia El Cuyo enough for those looking for a peaceful, authentic experience in the Yucatan. Owners live on site and are really friendly and helpful. They were a great help to us helping us out with a lift back from Playa Del Carmen and on to our next accommodation in El Cuyo. Good sized room with great wifi. Cleaners are great and clean the room regularly with towels and linen replaced etc. Outside pool area is pleasant and relaxing. Location is good for access to the beach, town and restaurants. Free coffee available in the morning with sugar and powdered milk. Free drinking water available. We had a great stay for 4 weeks.

The pool area was very relaxing, cabins are spacious, clean and have everything you need, they are 5 min walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. Check in was easy and communication with the hosts/staff was very fast and helpful. We also booked a yoga class on one of the mornings which was very relaxing in the perfect setting under the coconut trees 😶‍🌫️

The hotel is absolutely charming. We especially liked the upstairs chill area for seeing the sunset. The rooms are in good shape and super clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. I would gladly come back for more time.

Finnaly the hotel which fulfilled our expactations. And matches our (european) standards. Nico the host was very caring. He gave us all the information about restaurants and had organized our boat trip to flamingos.I would gladly stay in his hotel again.
