The host was caring, and knowledgeable about the area. Her Korean breakfast was made with love, and delicious. The room was well-thought out, modern, super comfortable, and clean. I booked for 2 nights, then ended up staying for 3. I wish I stayed for even longer! The location is perfect to travel around central and northern Okinawa. Being so close to the beach is also a plus, perfect for watching the sunset. The village is warm and inviting. The cafe area is perfect to interact with other guests, and have a drink together at the end of the day. I loved everything about it!

The house was fantastic and very clean and had all the amenities you would need - washing machine, detergent, drying rack, hangers, extra towels. We didn't use the kitchen, but I could see all the usual appliances and utensils. We choose the area Onna as a mid-way base to access locations on the top of the island e.g. aquarium, Bise, Kouri Island, Nago so we didn't have a long drive from Naha at the bottom. It was so nice to come back to the house at the end of the day to relax.

We had been staying at 5-star hotels and eating at fancy Michelin restaurants in the big cities, yet this was truly the highlight of our trip. Miyahira and his wife and incredibly kind and make you feel like you are at home. There are only two guest bedrooms so their attention is undivided. Everything is clean and the location is amazing (less than a minute walk to the beach). However, the star of the show really is the food. Oh my goodness, it was incredibly. We ordered pretty much the entire menu between our two nights there and no dish disappointed. I read in other reviews that he was previously a chef in Tokyo, so I had high expectations, but they were exceeded. The prices were also very affordable especially when compared to other places on the island that cannot even come close to comparing to the quality of their food. If you are thinking about staying here, don't think any further, just do it and you will not regret it!

They are empathetic, hard-working, helpful, and at the same time manage to provide plenty of privacy. They both can speak English, which is not entirely common on the island. We have never met hosts like this before, and we travel all over the world. We felt like at home here for 14 days. We will definitely be back.
