They also offer multiple free shuttles to both Tokashiki Beach and Aharen Beach, making it super easy to explore the island's best spots without any hassle. The staff were genuinely some of the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve met, always eager to help and make sure I had everything I needed. And the food—wow! It was the best of what Tokashiki Island has to offer, with fresh, local flavors that made every meal a memorable experience. Kanaloa Hotel combines the warmth of home with the best of island hospitality. If you’re visiting Tokashiki, staying here is a must!

The room was huge, we got pyjamas, the kitchen was equipped, beds were really big, we had a balcony with very big windows. This hotel is so clean and design that it’s a simple pleasure to be there. Onsen on the rooftop with free drinks all day long is definitely a bonus. Also the staff was very nice and helpful!

Owners are a very sweet couple who are welcoming, caring, attentive and exceptional hosts! Accommodation was clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Two separate guestrooms on the upper floor with terrace. Conveniently located less than 1 min walk to beautiful Ama Beach! About 1-2 min walk to the town bus as well. Able to rent beach equipment (snorkel masks, fins, tent) from them, all in great condition. They also drove us to and from the ferry port and were so thoughtful to offer to lend us their hat when we forgot ours! Restaurant, izakaya style, was absolutely incredible! Amazing food and service! Was very glad to eat there during our whole stay, tried most of the menu and everything was delicious, meticulously and beautifully prepared. They were also so kind to provide a tasty packed bento lunch for us one day. Both Western and Japanese style breakfasts included were also wonderful! Dinner menu available in both English and Japanese (though be sure to not miss out on the mozuku seaweed tempura on the Japanese menu (not on the English menu)). Highly recommend them and look forward to returning!
