Yes, the hotel may have some imperfections in the decoration of the rooms - it is not new, but it definitely has the spirit of the old school five-star luxury hotels that you feel when you cross the threshold. Classic disign, paintings on the walls, waiters in the white uniform... For us - we really liked everything - the quality of the room, the bed, the view, the service. Very tasty breakfast. Well equipped gym, heated pool. Free parking. Will return here again with great pleasure.

The nearest airport is Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport, 36 km from the accommodation. Great place to stay. Lovely room and large communal lounge, dining area and outdoor areas with wonderful views. I was a bit concerned about how far it might be from the train station, but this was no issue, a short and really beautiful stroll through the town and to my accom. The Sant'Anna stairs up to La Conchiglia were quite brutal with bags in the heat, take the road up a bit further to the next short climb of stairs, this was easy going, and views all the way. Host was excellent, nice bloke and really helpful. Highly recommend.
