We will return and will stay longer. The hotel is spectacular, designed with style and attention to detail. The whole location is also very quiet. We received a very friendly welcome on our evening arrival and an upgrade to a larger suite, located just next to the swimming pool. We enjoyed a drink with the view at the pool-bar and have used the pool in the morning for a relaxing swim. The pool area is equipped with stylish and comfortable sofas, chairs and sun-beds, we could use the sofas also in the evening. Breakfast was rich and tasty, we were offered not only the stuff which was on display in a breakfast buffet but also custom-made breakfast dishes selection freshly from the kitchen (scrambled eggs). We also were assisted during the breakfast with some tips about the local specialities offered to us and how to eat them! That made our day! There was a nespresso machine in the room as well.

I love how quiet, off the beaten path and the simplicity of it all. The rooms are simple, new and clean, with a fully stocked kitchenette. The property is nestled in fig and olive trees. The beach is clean and right outside the courtyard. George the host, welcomes everyone that stays on his property as if they’re family. I even had an unfortunate occurrence where I stepped on a bee and my foot started to swell. George was ready to rush me to first med, thankfully the Benadryl and some sprays that he had stocked in his first aid kit did the trick. As much as I worry about my secret getting out and people discovering Ktima Zaxarias, it’s such a special place that it’s worth recommending. See you in 2024 🙏🏻

Kalogeras Beach is less than 1 km from the guest house, while Pouda Beach is a 16-minute walk from the property. The nearest airport is Kithira Island National Alexandros Aristotelous Onassis Airport, 60 km from Mulberry House. If we could give 11 stars we would but the highest is 10. Clean, tidy, super hospitality by the owner. Everything You need was there. Highly reccomend to everyone

Our terrace was huge and we enjoyed watching the sunrise from there as recommended by our host! The bedroom is spacious and comfortable and we slept really well. Good sized bathroom with two sinks and a big shower. You can walk into Monemvasia in 25 mins so no need to worry about finding space in the main car park. Really friendly host who gave us great recommendations for dinner and how to get to Elafonisos island. Would highly recommend this place for a peaceful and quiet stay within easy reach of the bustle of Monemvasia.
