Offering a shared garden and city view, at 300 metres from Portobello Beach and 3 km from Arthurs Seat. EVERYTHING. Every last detail was perfect at this stay. The apartment was immaculate, clean, had everything you need, great location outside of the city centre. Could not have asked for anything better.

The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

A wonderful hotel, staff were superb from arrival to departure, rooms are fabulous with luxurious beds and toiletries, clean towels every day whether needed or not. Only 10 mins walk from the hotel to a gorgeous sandy beach, and Gullane has a charming main street. We ate in the main restaurant and the food was amazing, and we used the main bar and the outside garden area and loved the service given and choice of food and drinks in both. Will definitely be back!

Featuring free WiFi and a sun terrace, Another Room offers accommodation between the districts of Portobello and Craigentinny in Edinburgh, 4 km from the city centre. The property was located is a beautiful location which was walking distance from the beach. Our room was really spacious and loved how the hosts had taken care of so many small details (like even providing a sewing kit, that was really impressive). The hosts were one of the most warm and wonderful people. We loved to have conversations with them each morning while gorging on the delicious breakfast that Lynn prepared for us. Lynn was so kind to even customise an omelette the way we liked. Her pancakes and scones were to die for. We had such a pleasant stay and now we know where we are staying for our future visits to Edinburgh. Thank you so much for hosting us.
