The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Dating back to the 14th-century, this property offers an award-winning restaurant, locally brewed ales and free parking. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

Breakfast is served in the sea view breakfast room and can be continental, vegetarian or full English, with cereal, juices, porridge, and kippers on the menu. Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Nice location right by the beach, and breakfast was very good. Highly recommend.

Everything, the location was perfect for travel by bus as stop right outside door of B & B and when you have luggage. . . Also, a lovely walk along a babbling brook to town centre was lovely. The care and attention to the accommodation was great along with a yummy breakfast to start the day. Highly recommend.

Well placed for trips and explorations out and relaxing when back. The view from the outside seating area is just perfect. Really lovely touches from the host and excellent communications. Really enjoyable and, comfortable cannot recommend highly enough.
