The property consists of 3 different houses with double rooms. Opening to a patio with garden or sea views, all units are fitted with a kitchenette with a fridge. 1) The hosts were very nice and very responsive; moreover, it was nice that they live on the property. 2) Incredibly nice showers, and sauna looked to be good as well (although we did not try it. 3) Clean, well kept, and with an extremely comfortable bed. 4) Located in a pretty part of the country. The nearby shorelines is very nice. Background note concerning responses in this review: There are three rental cottages on the premises; we were in #2. The others looked to be similar size, but we don't know whether everything in our response would apply accurately to them.

Sinisalu Apartments is a private holiday house situated in the beautiful village of Käsmu, known among Estonians as “Captain’s Village”. It is less than 100 metres from the sea and 200 metres from Käsmu Sea Museum. It offers simple rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi. We stayed in the beautiful little garden cottage. It was just lovely, there was a heating lamp on the terrace to enjoy the evening even with cooler temperatures. It was comfy and cozy and nice. And the lady who welcomed us was very kind. We loved our stay!

The apartments offered by Merekalda are bright and classically decorated. Each features a sitting area, a flat-screen TV and a balcony. There is a bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Merekalda is in a good location just on way into the village of Kasmu. The apartments are set in a lovely garden overlooking the sea. I would really recommend the Apartment with Terrace - Seafront as you have lovely views and 2 sitting areas to choose from. The view of the sunrise from the bedroom is spectacular. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with cooking facilities (two ring cooker and microwave) and a large bathroom. The only thing missing was an oven, but we were not eating in much so that didn't affect us. The owners live on the grounds so they are there if you need anything or have any questions. We hired bikes and cycled in the local forest and into nearby Vosu. If you are looking for a relaxed holiday in a peaceful and comfortable setting, then it would be hard to beat Merekalda!

Everything was perfect, the house is comfortable, clean and surrounded by lush greenery. We spotted a Moose at the edge of the forest around sunset, it was amazing. The sandy beach is a short walking distance away and different nature trails are around 20 min drive away. Definitely recommend!

We made our own breakfast because we like to sleep long and not to hurry to have the breakfast. There was enough space for our dogs to run and the hostess was very kind! The best place to escape from reality for couple of days!
