I started playing golf at The Dunes in 2007 on my first trip to Australia and have regularly played there on many trips. The stylish rooms offer good space and have modern shower and plumbing fixtures. The nearby clubhouse offers a menu with good breakfast and lunch. Golf tee times can be reserved, unless the stay is booked at times when course is closed to public play, such as when large multiday tournaments are held. I've found it possible on most trips to the area to get tee times at The Dunes. I usually stay at a small cottage nearby but this time it was unavailable part of my stay. I would consider the Links Lodge at The Dunes for another stay on future visits. There are in room safes offer an extra layer of security for those concerned about safeguarding travel documents. The lodging is fairly new and opened in the last few years. It is separated from the main clubhouse by a short distance and each unit has parking which is separate from common parking areas. My room was a two minute walk to the restaurant and clubhouse.

Coastal Waters is a 20-minute drive to the Nyerimilang Heritage Park and the Griffiths Sea Shell Museum. The Buchan Caves are a 40-minute drive away. Really comfortable bed and pillows, very clean. Would stay here again. Thank you to the staff.

Ideally located opposite Blairgowrie beach, the Yacht Club and Marina, Boathouse Resort Studios and Suites offers free WiFi, an outdoor swimming pool and BBQ facilities. The resort boasts an onsite restaurant and bar, Panda. Friendly staff, room was clean and great.

Free Wi-Fi is available. Very good in all respects… forgot an item in room.. they secured it till next day, till our return in the same way…

Located on the Great Ocean Road, Apollo Bay Waterfront Motor Inn is a 15-minute drive from Great Otway National Park. The famous Twelve Apostles are a 1-hour drive away. Local shops, cafes and restaurants and the visitor information centre are within walking distance. Love the cleanliness and coziness of the room. Plus, we were late and worried about not being able to check in but the keys are left outside of the reception area and checking-in and -out was a breeze, just had to drop the keys back in a container from the same area.

The world famous Twelve Apostles are only 8 minutes’ drive from Motel Portside. Loch Ard Gorge is a 5-minute drive and 12 Apostles Visitor Information Centre is just 300 metres away. Port Campbell Beach is only 500 metres away. Ideal for short stays. Greeted with a warm welcome from the host.

The property offers soundproof units and is situated 2.3 km from Torquay Front Beach. I booked the place with urgency so I didnt have high expectation but it turned out that it was one of the best experiences that I've had in my many years of travelling. Stuart's place was spotless clean, very well decorated, and calm. The room has everything we needed. Very nice bed, heater etc. Kitchen and bathroom are very clean and well equipped as well. But what makes it so special was Stuart's hospitality, and we really enjoyed talking to him and his partner.
