There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
We really like the location of the Marshpoint condos, just off the bay, and easy beach access. The condo unit we stayed in was 2 bedroom and recently updated. Great beds, pillows, and cozy bedding. Full size kitchen, fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes glasses etc. The room was very quiet, there was a windy night and we didn't hear it at all.
This place was more than we expected! Value for money, cleanliness, comfortable beds and bedding, amenities, pools, bike paths friendly staff. Lots of walking paths, great beach access. Very quiet in our condo which was wonderful for our two night escape.
Loved the island and area and the many many beach access areas within walking distance. The room was well appointed for basics and was sufficient for cooking all our meals. The screened porch was great when the mosquitoes were active! The laundry in room was so appreciated. This island is slower than surrounding luxury areas but was a perfect beach stay. We loved Edisto. We saw dolphins daily, watched sunsets and sunrises and collected shells to our hearts content.
The location was great; very well kept, extremely quiet and peaceful with a beautiful marsh view! Less than an 8 min drive to the start of beach access as well.
Close to beach access. Very clean rooms. Lots of space. We had stayed previously and had a wonderful experience but were pleasantly surprised by a large jacuzzi tub. Always a great experience here and Edisto never disappoints.
