Our 3-star Villa Vanilla Kendwa hotel is located 300 meters from the most beautiful and largest beach in Zanzibar, Kendwa Beach.

It offers a variety of amenities, balconies with a great view of the ocean, WiFi, a garden where you can relax on a deck chair, and a restaurant on the terrace with a stunning view of the city and the ocean. Our restaurant offers local and European cuisine, our chefs cook exclusively from fresh products. Each hotel room is air-conditioned, has a private bathroom, a wardrobe and a large double bed. Some rooms can accommodate three people.

There is a direct road from the hotel to the main beach, which is only a 4-5 minute walk away. The hotel is small and comprises of nine cozy-modern rooms and a top-floor dining area boasting a splendid view of the entire Kendwa area. I was impressed by the team's exceptional hospitality and willingness to assist with anything I required during my stay. As a working traveler, reliable internet is a must, and I'm pleased to say that this hotel delivered on that front.

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. If you are contemplating staying here, do not hesitate booking. We stayed here with our children, on a half board basis, renting 2 bungalows. The resort is spectacular. No expense has been spared. The food was amazing. The staff lovely. Beach toys provided for children on the beach. Very secure and safe. We did not want to leave.
