Our room was very clean, and quite large. It is basic, but the Air-conditioning worked well and was definitely needed. It is right on the beach but it's not a nice beach, but the hotel has nice views. It's a short walk to the fish market and malecon. The restaurants at the far end of the malecon on thenother side of the bay are more reasonable priced than the ones by the market.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
Bit on the expensive side for a hostel but staff were friendly and it was a nice break from the city. Right on the beach which is a bit difficult for an average surfer but fun to swim in. Breakfast was pretty tasty but there’s also much cheaper places with food just as good nearby. Rooms are a little cramped if full up as there’s nowhere to put your stuff, but beds were comfy.

It's literally on the beach!! Great fof surfers or someone like me who needed a short stay and really enjoys the sound of the waves, good hostel vibes and the open air.
Bonus - some really sweet pet dogs & cats too. Adorable puppy pawed at me when I had to leave....

It's got a beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean, perfect for enjoying the sunset. There's a restaurant on site and several more next door.
The highlight though is the owner. A very generous and soulful character with myriads of stories to tell. He went out of his way to accommodate me when I was having a bad day, and truly made my stay in La Libertad remarkable.
The owner is very friendly and helpful, and it's right on the beach with good surf. Surf rental was reasonable and they gave me lots of tips and recommendations. The food they do is also pretty good, although not much option.
The hostess Marie is the most accommodating, friendly, and attentive person ever. Extremely helpful and always ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is perfect! The property is right on the beach and there are restaurants all along the street. It is also within walking distance of Sunset Park, the amusement park. Can't wait to visit again!
The place is right on the beach about 1km west from Punta Roca. It’s a wooden and palm house, which looks nice. The owner is very nice, energetic and has a full surf vibe. The food they cook is really good, although more expensive than what it says on Booking. Cheap sodas and beer available.
This place is just amazing! location right on the beach and the hosts were incredible friendly. I felt like home right away and its perfect to recharge and focus on surfing. the beds we’re comfortable and bathrooms clean. the Wi-Fi worked perfectly and also the local food there was delicious. I would definitely come back.
Fantastic Location, right on the beach. nice 2 pools and terrace with a view to the ocean. good enough room with working AC, close to the pool and to the common area.
Simple but beautiful accommodation right on the beach! Choose between hammocks, dorm, tent or a “private” room (behind a curtain). Friendly people and local food. Possibility for surf lessons.
