Nice place but when you want to go for a lovely holiday and are willing to spend money i think it’s worth going to four seasons desroches or similar hotels. limited wifi, towels/ sheets with stains, smell of damp in first room and just generally quite rundown. Staff were good at changing rooms and improving our stay and it is a beautiful island but i wouldn’t say it matches other 5 star hotels we are used to in europe. It is more like a 4 star.

There is a parking place for your car but one can definitely come by local bus from Victoria ,buying a pre paid card for transport at the main bus station in the capitol ( 168 rupees for 4 days ,unlimited travels f.eg).

My husband and I stayed at Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas for our honeymoon and my birthday for a week from the end of May to early June. We had an amazing experience at the villas, as heavenly as Seychelles itself.
We have to say the villa and the whole team exceeded our expectations - of course, you expect certain things in luxury hotels, but what impressed us the most is how effortless everything is under the care of everyone here, the exact reason why we picked it here.
We want to express our special thanks to our butler Anton, the Director of Operations Anil Kumar, our taxi drivers Pat and Kelvin, and a few more staffs we don’t remember the names of including spa teams, buggy teams, front desks, the ladies who checked in and out for us, restaurant chefs and staffs, beach staffs, taxi drivers, and people who we randomly met at the villas and simply said hi to us. Thank you all for making our experience so special. I wish you all the best and I look forward to staying at Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas again in the future.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Very safe and family oriented atmosphere, thou it is a 3 star it was much better in every way from 4 star that we lived in Castello beach hotel in Praslin

I like the location which is directly on the beach also the quietness of the place specially at night away from all the noise in this world. the people there are very friendly and we enjoyed our time.
Lovely villa, right on the beach, with well kept grounds and terrace with lots of loungers and shade, nice pool, beach towels provided. All staff were all nice and friendly. There is use of free kayak great to paddle around the island it’s calm shallow and safe. You can walk half way round the island easily.
The staff dealt with any problems quickly and promptly. Complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee. Mini bar. TV with satellite
Nice little hotel on the beach side, nice pleasant room, wholesome meals and super friendly staff. One can also hire a kayak free of charge to explore the waters around the island. Top service and a very pleasant stay.
The appartement is gorgeous, very calm and right on the beach. Wendy and her husband were fabulous hosts. They lend us a kayak to go around the island, and to explore the fabulous hidden beaches and islands on the other side.
The starter pack for breakfast was very appreciable. Thanks to the grocery shopping we made in Mahe before arriving, we were able to cook every day and didn't have to go to the only restaurant of the island
