Beautiful place filled with oleanders and a lot of trees (oak, pine trees) that provide a lot of natural shade. Big, comfortable houses that are well kept and clean with comfortable beds. Very polite and friendly staff, not only to us but also to our 35 kilos dog :). Very pet friendly but have in mind that a pet tax is required (100 lei/ aprox. 20 euro per night). Free coffee at the receptionist desk where you can also find books that you can lend and enjoy during your stay.
Even though we stayed at the individual houses, we were allowed to walk at their other locations such as Hacienda de Mare and enjoy the beautiful yard.
A few improvements would definitely be appreciated:
- outdoor sand off shower in the house area. This would help a lot with not getting sand everywhere inside the houses. Also would be very useful for those coming with their pets for a quick sand off rinse.
- fences in the back where the train line is very close. It would also help with keeping the stray dog packs away from the houses. We had a "face off" with a pack of this sort right in front of our house and it was a bit stressful to always look behind our backs even when we were on the house terrace and with our dog on leash when outside.
Razvan Holiday is situated in Costineşti. The home stay has a barbecue and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar.

The location is amazing. It's the main reason I picked this location. It is right on the beach, the garden is nice, filled with lavender and mimosas, it has a very Mediterranean vibe. The building itself is nice as well - I also liked the old objects in the reception area and the overall treatment of the location.
The building is located very close to the beach and the walk to reach the beach was really pleasant. I liked the most the seaside view. The apartment was located at the 7th floor, so i had some nice views of the sunrise every morning!
Everything: the fantastic courtyard, you’re literally on the beach while enjoying a very clean and relaxing courtyard and property, with great facilities. The staff working during breakfast is absolutely amazing: friendly and welcoming, ready to meet all requirements of the guests. Also, their private beach is extremely clean, not overcrowded with clean and comfortable sun-beds. It’s obviously that the owners of this property care about their guests and their comfort. For sure, it’s the best place to stay in Romanian seaside.
The hotel is fully renovated, the position is beachfront, you just have to go down the stairs and their private beach is just near. Very good food, plenty of room at the restaurant.
Very nice view of the seaside from the room (we had a corner room), close to the beach, room had a decent size (but on the small side), the AC was good and very silent
Overall the hotel reception area and the room interior it shows it is just a refurbished old hotel from the communist era.
