Amazing place with everything one need. We visited many places on the island and this is certainly the best spot. Regeneration for body and soul with vertical ridge behind and ocean in front, situated in quiet romantic by-the-sea town. If you are willing to explore west of Madeira, choose this place.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
This accommodation became one of the best parts of our trip, cozy authentic historical building with spectacular view from the window and just 5 minutes walk from the best beach in Madeira, absolutely breathtaking experience! Furthermore, good and proper breakfast included.
The host was very friendly and helpful. The house was equipped with everything you might need (kitchen appliances, utensils, tea and coffee, towels, duvets, toiletries) and even some extras, it was very cozy and beautiful. There's a free parking lot right outside of the gates which is very comfortable. The black beach is 3 minutes walk away.
And of course the best thing was to wake up in the morning and look out of the bedroom window and see amazing mountains and ocean view! The view alone was worth it.
The location is stunning, right on the oceanfront and quieter than the main Seixal beach area. The staff were all so kind, welcoming and helpful. The bar/restaurant downstairs on the oceanfront was so good - amazing waiting staff, and the food was delicious. The whole place had such a warm community spirit and as a solo traveler, it was so nice to be welcomed into that. I'd recommend this place to anyone - whether a solo traveler like me or a couple or a family. Amazing!

Lovely owner who owns a nice seaside restaurant directly under the rooms 😊 Also great location to visit the natural pools nearby! We totally recommend it! Also some fresh local fruits were provided as a welcome gift, which were very tasty.
The black sand beach was close. We played in the waves until dark, rinsed off in the waterfall and then could walk to our room. Beautiful view of the ocean from our room. Staff promptly provided a fan when requested.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of the village, it takes about an hour to walk to the beach. There is no breakfast at the hotel. The restaurant opens after 13:00. The room is not bad, a view of the sea and the sound of the ocean! Bad water pressure! As for me, 80 euros for 1 guest without breakfast is expensive!
