We usually only stay at 5 Star hotels for our holidays and everything at the Vilalara Resort met its 5 star rating.
The breakfast was exceptional - with lots of variety and choice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful at all times and had a smile each time. Thanks to the whole Breakfast Team.
The Pools and general facilities at the resort were also fantastic. We spent a great deal of time at the pool side - which was very peaceful and relaxing. Rakesh the pool side attendant was brilliant - always helpful with a smile each time.
We also visited the Spa / Health / Gym - which were again excellent - very clean / comfortable / lovely staff.
The beach is nearby was a lovely and a great place to visit at the end of each day to unwind further.
The rooms were very comfortable, clean and attended to daily. The hotel grounds were kept well - with beautiful gardens filled with exotic plants everywhere. Absolutely wonderful and very pleasing as you walked about.
We would like to especially mention the Hotel Reception team led by Pedro Fonseca - they were absolutely brilliant, always very helpful with great suggestions to local restaurants / sites to visit and real credit to the hotel - which is why we will recommend it to all our friends and perhaps book again for next year - thankyou everyone.
Overall - we would say particularly thanks to ALL the staff at the Vilalara Resort - they are all professional, helpful and always happy to meet and greet - our congrats to the leadership team.

The host met us in front of the building and explained us all the things that we needed to know. The apartment is small, but very comfy and well equiped (modern). We really liked it here and the location is perfect, since the beach is only few meters away from the building.

The apartment had everything you could need. From spare toothbrush to salt, washing power, dishwasher tablets and a very nice welcome basket.
It was clean, modern, spacious and secure.
The location was excellent right beside the beach and plenty of restaurants and shops.
It also provided a welcome book with places to visit and restaurants to eat in.

There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
Perfect location. Excelent super clean apartment with great equipment and furniture. Pool was extra bonus for kids. Just perfect vacation. Feeling like in 5 stars hotel.
We loved staying at Hakuna Matata. The family that lives on the property and rents out rooms is very nice: warm and welcoming. The space itself is comfortable and has everything you need. It was July and we barely needed to use the AC: such nice breezes at night. It was a terrific base for exploring the area. We spent two blissful days on the beach.
Spacious holiday house in a calm place with short access to the close beaches. Shared pool is also very clean and nice, where you can relax. House itself has everything you need for great holiday.
We had a great time at Casa Rosa Azul! The house is cosy and fully equipped with everything you need. The views from the terrace and the roof are stunning. There are several restaurants within walking distance and two beaches. The beach praia do Carvalho is really nice!
Communication with the owners about the reservation, payment, the keys worked very smoothly.

Wonderful 3-day stay at Neptuno. Very spacious accommodation with a nicely equipped kitchen, very homey atmosphere. The place my husband and I got was good for 5 people, with good value for money with secure parking. Walking distance to Benagil and Carvalho Beach, right along the Seven Hanging Valley Trail. Highly recommended.
We had the loveliest stay at Marcel, José and little Lucy's place. It was a very nice relaxing atmosphere. The 1 bedroom apartment we stayed at had everything we needed. Excellent location, close to Benagil and Marinha beach.
The host was very accommodating, and even let us drop our luggage off in the morning before we checked in. We loved everything and hope we can come back sometime!
The location was excellent and the villa was spacious. We could walk to two different beaches easily. We walked along the coastal path to go out for breakfast and it was peaceful and beautiful. We really enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace in the morning and evening to admire the wonderful views.
It's a wonderful accomodation in a peaceful location away from noisy tourism and surranded by a beautiful country garden. Beach is located within the walking distance and coastal walks are possible.

The hosts were incredible helpful and attentive. With shops and restaurants nearby and only a 10min walk from a stunning coastal hike, with views overlooking million year old limestone cliffs, clear blue seas and the lighthouse. The owners provided a welcome bottle of Portuguese wine and during the sunset lit tealights across the property, beautiful - I didn't want to leave. Highly recommend.
