The house had all the facilities we needed. Having the beach at the doorstep is a luxury. The vicinity is very quiet and we felt safe all the time, even when we had to keep 4 electrical bicycles outside the building for 2 nights. The location is perfect for families and for sport/nature lovers - quiet beach, good waves, mountain (just a 5-km hike away), a gorgeous North Coast bikeway... What else?

We loved staying here. The view is stunning and we're glad we stayed two nights. The street below wasn't louder than the waves from the ocean so we slept well. We had fun walking around the village and spending time on the beach. The apartment is very cosy and we'd stay here again.

Location, location, location! Incredible view out to sea from the very spacious room (don't even think about getting a room at the back) only metres away. Coupled successfully with omfortable big beds, nice balcony and an enormous shower. Staff were friendly and breakfasts fantastic. Also had a delicous meal in the restaurant. Superb value too.

Location was good for us as it was on Camino, otherwise it is a bit of a walk to the town. Beds were comfortable and room in general was clean and modern. Helpful staff. Varied breakfast.

Lovely fun community feel, kids playing together, and a stone’s throw from both the sea and the river beach. Clean and well equipped with everything you need.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
We had the small studio appt/house. Everything was new and done with love and care. Tyh esuite has a little well furnished outside area facing the pool and with view to the beach. The check-in was uncomplicated. There is a shop, restaurants and beach in walking distance to the house (if you don't mind a little walk) and we could use the bikes (basic) at the property.
Spacious villa, bright and modern interior. Nice size swimming pool. Village of Afife is pleasant and beaches nearby are amazing. Lovely sand, great waves and nice snack bars. Selection of golf courses within 1 hr drive of villa.

The location in Afife was great, the little town has a couple of bars/cafes, a small supermarket, a train station and you can walk to the beach. The terrace was nice with a partial sea view. It was also a useful base for exploring up and down the coast and the Lima valley. Filipa, in reception, could not have been more helpful - replacing broken toaster and missing hairdryer and kitchen knives. The pool looked nice but it was very noisy, occupied by a family who rented several apartments, so we did not use.
Afife is fantastic - the beaches, the wooded hills. There's a shop nearby, and it's easy to visit other places. The accommodation is nicely done up, lots of flowers, and the pool is great. Also, I appreciated that there was salt, pepper, oil, and even handwash or washing-up liquid. The owner even enquired after us during bad weather which I found nice. Oh, and a wonderful terrace shaded with vines.
Carlos treated us like an old friends. You will find there peace, comfort, beautiful view to the ocean and city, and meaningfull conversations with the owner Carlos. We are glad to be there !
