The village itself is small and unite secluded so you instantly feel like you have all of the beaches and the beauty of the island all to yourself. Everyone in the village is very welcoming and you feel right at home. The staff at Simurkuts place go the extra MIL to help you relax and enjoy your holiday, they will assist you from things like getting g your luggage to the jetty to helping you organise snorkeling and diving excursions. The huts themselves are simple and good value for money especially if you're a solo traveler, they are basic huts with a double bed and a bathroom, but the best thing about them is as you s step out you can see palm trees and the ocean and every night you fall asleep to. The sound of the waves. Incredible and memorable stay will come back for sure.

As it's name, Home away Tioman truly feels like home. We were given a warm welcome from Sukri. The stay was very pleasant for families with kids, the homestay is just stone away from the beach. It gives a cozy front yard with wooden seats, a swing for any occasion be it to enjoy the beach or the sunset. We went snorkeling at the reef just in front of Homeaway Tioman, we spotted black tip shark, sea turtle and clown fish. The night is quiet and good for anyone seeking for a short Island gateaway. The food from Nenek is delicious and we have most of the meals here in this humble but cosy restaurant! She has a very high standard and takes pride in her cooking!We definitely will come back again!Will miss everyone here on HomeawayTioman

U can go snorkeling, bicycle ride, hiking. Kg Genting is on the quiet side of Tioman so expect a very chill and layback environment here.

If you are planning to visit Tioman Island and are looking forward to the underwater scenery you saw in the Nemo movie, I definitely recommend this accommodation in Genting Village. The reason is that the sea in front of the x-recter accommodation is specialized in snorkelling and is incomparable to the sea in front of other villages. This is not a tourist spot like Paya, but a quiet, beautiful village where local people live in peaceful harmony and is not crowded with tourists as well. Host Yee has underwater maps in his brain derived from his long experience, and seems to be a wonderful instructor and host who can not only help with snorkelling and free diving, but also heal people who are afraid of the sea. While our family was there, we saw one of the most powerful and unforgettable sights which we have never experienced before. During the advanced snorkelling session with host Yee and his lovely mother, I was able to see a sea turtle from half a meter distance. Following Yee's guidance, we carefully approached the sea turtle and were able to touch its back shell avoiding its mouth. Circling around us were many sharks which appear to be as long as 1M. In addition, there were puffer fish groups, eels nestled between the rocks, and colorful, pretty fish and corals. To be honest I've seen the Nemo fish so many times during snorkelling that it felt ordinary compared to other special fish. Above all, I think I have never seen such a magnificent, colorful and beautiful coral area in my life. It felt like an extended version of the Nemo movie that actually exists. It felt unreal and so extraordinary that it felt bigger than the movie itself. Next, let's talk about his accommodation. In short it is not a large-scale luxurious resort, but he and his family who run the accommodation are very efficient and they did not cause any disturbance so that we did not feel any inconvenience during our stay.

Eno was a fantastic host. He collected us from the jetty and made us breakfast each morning. Eno even organised a day tour to the forest and beach on the other side of the island. We wished we could stay for another week.
