Everyone in the village is very welcoming and you feel right at home. The staff at Simurkuts place go the extra MIL to help you relax and enjoy your holiday, they will assist you from things like getting g your luggage to the jetty to helping you organise snorkeling and diving excursions. The huts themselves are simple and good value for money especially if you're a solo traveler, they are basic huts with a double bed and a bathroom, but the best thing about them is as you s step out you can see palm trees and the ocean and every night you fall asleep to. The sound of the waves. Incredible and memorable stay will come back for sure.

Rooms are very clean. Each room has a view of the cove. Wifi in the lobby/dining area was excellent. Fantastic staff! The beach offers easy access to the reef and snorkeling was possible for anyone of any skill level. If you enjoy nature, this is a great place to stay. There is abundant sea life (sea turtles, baby sharks, sting rays and lots of tropical fish species) and jungle inhabitants (monkeys, giant squirrels, lizards) etc.

I highly recommend Sri Sentosa Chalet in Kampung Mukut if you want a peaceful vacation away from the city. It's only 20 minutes walk to mejestic Asah waterfalls and 3 hours hiking/trekking to the mountain nearby the village. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The place is clean, the location of my room is at the beachfront, the room and toilet are wide. I'm very comfortable and will definitely go back to this place👍👍👍😁😁😁

It's expectional stay with great hosts and perfect location. Amazing food cooked by the host's mother and easiness of doing all kinds of activities made it one of the greatest stays in Malaysia. It's a perfect gateway from bustling cities. I would greatly recommend it for family with children and couples who value peace and beautiful views. We stayed there a couple of days and never got bored. We saw so many amazing underwater scenery and animals while snorkelling. Great value to price! Definitely would stay there again.

Nice unit. Right in front of the beach. Comfy beds. Clean bathroom. For wifi u can hang out at the office for better reception. The beach is well maintained. Breakfast is sufficient. U can go snorkeling, bicycle ride, hiking. Kg Genting is on the quiet side of Tioman so expect a very chill and layback environment here.
