I'm on the point of departure with a heavy heart to leave the Kandhoo Island because I've spent a fantastic week at Dohani guesthause All the staff are very friendly and attentive, the rooms are lovely and very clean, and the various activities on offer meant that our stay was never dull. Amazing villa over the water ! The service was extraordinary and I’d like to mention a few names: Maria, our hostess, was amazing taking care of every single detail for us; Bandula, the hotel manager, was extremely nice with us offering a lunch in the underwater restaurant; and last but not the least the Cooking chef who kindly shared with me a very good gluten-free recipe of pizza ….

The resort is on a small island but vast so it was great to have the wassap number for our host on arrival. She was very helpful, obliging and did an amazing job in getting us timely help when we needed it. She even orchestrated the return of my wedding ring i forgot at another island 100miles away!! Thank you Mal!!! Great to have a private pool but also a larger main pool for laps. Reef was shallow and had plenty of fish to see at our pleasure. Food was exceptional and really enjoyed the non Indian food options.
